Be a part of the growing JOST International team! We are looking for highly motivated and highly dependable applicants to a fill a 2nd shift Quality Auditor position in our Quality Department at our Grand Haven plant. Applicants must have an excellent attendance in their prior work history. Previous quality auditing experience a plus.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
? Perform 1st Piece evaluations.
? Audit production to ensure; work instructions are being followed, paperwork is completed, and product conforms to print as called from control plan.
? Conduct product testing, evaluate product performance and create reports.
? Evaluation and analysis of product to determine root cause issues.
? Data entry of scrap and returns to/from vendors utilizing the AS400 system and excel.
REQUIREMENTS:
? Must be highly detail orientated in both critical thinking and evaluation.
? Experience with measuring devices (i.e. calipers, height gauge, etc.) is preferred.
? Reading blueprints.
? Ability to learn AS400 system & basic SPC understanding.
? Solid working experience and knowledge in Microsoft office; Excel, Word, Outlook.
? Outstanding work history & work attendance record is a must for consideration.
? Must be able to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment effectively, efficiently with minimal supervision and have the ability to gain knowledge in company, safety and quality policies.
? Completion of High School education or GED.
? Excellent communication skills with a strong team player attitude and work ethic.
